What is Better World?

Better World is a newsletter from me, Prem Thakker. I’m an undergrad studying History at Columbia University, and I am originally from North Dakota.

This newsletter offers a combination of reporting, conversations, and essays–all with the goal of orienting our planes of understanding towards each other, and answering the age-old question: What the hell is water? In Better World you will find work grounded in love, not cynicism; conviction, not compromise; and a wholehearted belief that humans can actually be for each other, and not simply in spite of each other.

So please, subscribe to this newsletter (it’s free!) —>

…and invite friends, family members, and neighbors – those you find harmonies with, and those you do not – to subscribe as well. If you are able, I invite you to please support this work with a couple cups of coffee, $5 – or more if you’re feeling generous!. Your support gives me more time to talk with people, research, and ultimately, write with more liberty. If you are unable to contribute financially, your thoughtful reading & comments, shares & forwards, and free subscriptions are sincerely just as appreciated. You can reach me at prem.thakk@gmail.com, and on Twitter @prem_thakker.
